If you didn't already know, the Hour of Code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students of all ages in 180+ countries designed to demystify code and show that anyone can learn the basics. At AISL, students are welcome to take part in this event in a number of different ways... Check the Daily Announcements for more details! http://studio.code.org/ has some excellent introductory coding activities using well known characters as Anna & Elsa from Frozen, Angry Birds, Penguin & Flappy. And here are some other Coding sites that take it to the next level - be aware that some of these do not work on an iPad:
